- This is a used Smico Sifter that we hooked up and ran, it seems to work fine. It has some rust on the structural frame work from setting outside, and the 5/8" diameter wood dowl rods need to be replaced (55" long). We ran it with these dowls and it worked fine, but they do not look like they would last long. Other than that it looks to be in good working condition. The inside is in good condition, all except for the balls in the decks are moldy and need to be replaced. It has five decks. The screens are made of 0.011" diameter stainless steel wire and the holes are 0.0226" square (as close as we can tell). The screens are in good condition. Each deck is 31x31x5". The screen part is 26x29.5". The motor is 2 horsepower 3 phase 240/480 volts and is currently wired for 480 volts, the motor is in great condition. The body of the sifter is 44" in diameter. The inlet (1) and the outlets (2) are 6" diameter. The frame is 54x54x95". This unit is stored inside and has been for a few years.
